Job Title: Youth Cheerleading Coach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Cheerleading Coach to join our team at Elevo Learning. As a Youth Cheerleading Coach, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of young athletes in the sport of cheerleading, while also promoting physical activity, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cheerleading program that meets the needs and abilities of our students
  • Lead and coach a team of young athletes in the sport of cheerleading, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
  • Plan and implement practices and games that promote physical activity, teamwork, and good sportsmanship
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in coaching or youth development
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age
  • Completion of mandatory MDR training and any district required trainings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with youth in a coaching or development role
  • Knowledge of cheerleading techniques and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A can-do attitude and a natural curiosity for solving problems
