We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide guidance on tax planning and audit support.
- Identify opportunities to sell additional products and services to clients, such as tax planning and audit support.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide training to colleagues on new developments.
- 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and audit support.
- Experience working with virtual tools, such as video conferencing and chat.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
- Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
