Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
  • Serve as the main liaison between Brighton Health Plan Solutions and its clients.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to all client inquiries, whether through written communication or verbal discussions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providers, and members in both spoken and written formats.
  • Document all client interactions in the internal tracking system.
  • Handle advanced claims processing, including professional, facility, and ancillary claims.
  • Investigate inquiries regarding claim payments and pricing as requested by clients.
  • Apply medical policies, contractual terms, and operational procedures to ensure precise adjudication and adjustments.
  • Generate and analyze reports to identify the root causes of client payment issues.
  • Identify negotiation solutions and resolve conflicts to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and clients.
  • Manage eligibility and coordination of benefits issues.
  • Prepare comprehensive cases for second-level appeals.
Essential Qualifications
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in claims adjudication.
  • Expertise in advanced claims processing.
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare customer service.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-review capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player, adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.
  • High level of computer literacy and technical skills.
  • Able to collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve issues.
