Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated PM Shift Floor Nurse LPN to join our dynamic team at Ponchatoula Community Care Center. As one of the leading providers in Retirement Living, Home Health, and Hospice services across Louisiana and Mississippi, we employ over 2,000 healthcare professionals committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
- Review and ensure adherence to residents' care plans while documenting medical records accurately.
- Supervise and guide Nursing Assistants in the unit, providing necessary interventions and educational support.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Consult with physicians regarding patient care.
- Receive and document orders as required.
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Active CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
- Must not be excluded from Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintain eligibility for participation in Medicare and Medicaid throughout employment.
- Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
