Overview

The Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the organization's information through comprehensive risk evaluations, audits, control assessments, policy formulation, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will engage in various governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives and utilize a wide array of security-related tools and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough information security risk evaluations and analyze the control environment of business processes and applications, encompassing both manual and automated procedures in alignment with the information security framework.
  • Generate, review, and develop risk assessment and audit reports along with remediation strategies stemming from identified risks and vulnerabilities during evaluations.
  • Steer initiatives to secure compliance certifications for the organization, including ISO 27000 series and NIST standards.
  • Facilitate client evaluations of the organization's Information Security Program.
  • Oversee risk assessments of third-party vendors as part of the Vendor Risk Management strategy.
  • Supervise and audit the organization's File Monitoring system and other access control mechanisms to ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry best practices.
  • Assist in maintaining an updated inventory of information security laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Deliver ongoing Information Security training to employees.
  • Monitor various security tools and applications.
  • Respond to security incidents as they arise.
  • Support Security Operations functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of Information Security domains, concepts, and principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local and international Information Security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with Information Security frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST, COSO, and COBIT.
  • Practical experience with security tools including DLP, SIEM, NAC, A/V, and EDR.
  • Exceptional documentation capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a curious mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to acquire new skills and knowledge.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in an Information Security setting.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, and others are advantageous.

The organization offers competitive compensation and benefits to its employees, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $210,000, based on various factors including qualifications, education, and experience.
