Job Overview

A-Line Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Patient Care Assistant.

Position Summary:

The Patient Care Assistant plays a vital role in providing support and assistance to patients in a healthcare setting. This position involves direct interaction with patients, ensuring their comfort and aiding in their daily activities.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The hourly wage for this role is $30.00.
  • Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after a probationary period.
  • A 401(k) plan with company matching is available for employees who meet the service requirements.

Key Highlights:

  • This role is a contract position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance and attendance.
  • Availability requirements include:

1. Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekends.

2. Evening Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the care of patients and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide non-professional nursing services, including daily care and rehabilitation support.
  • Encourage patient participation in therapeutic and recreational activities.

Qualifications:

  • Must be registered and certified by the relevant health department.
  • Minimum of six months of experience as an aide or one year of experience in patient care.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Mandatory attendance during the initial training period.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Long-Term Care environment is advantageous.
