Job Summary

Hohman Plating, a leading service provider for plated coatings, is seeking a skilled Industrial Cleaning Associate to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our processing plant, offices, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain processing plant, offices, and grounds, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office space.
  • Clean office windows and doors, and empty trash and garbage containers into dumpsters.
  • Maintain building, performing minor and routine painting, and other related maintenance activities, including replacing air conditioner filters.
  • Notify management of the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Clean snow and debris from sidewalks, and mow lawn and trim shrubbery.
  • Document completed tasks and findings on checklists and work orders.
  • Provide support to Maintenance Technicians.
Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment

The Industrial Cleaning Associate will be frequently exposed to high heat, humid conditions, and potential extreme cold. Employee will be frequently exposed to loud sounds below OSHA permissible limits.
