POSITION SUMMARY:

The Baked Goods Specialist is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of baked items and desserts from scratch, adhering to production schedules and standardized recipes while meeting all federal, state, and Balfour Senior Living standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the preparation of pastries and desserts in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure food items are prepared according to specified recipes and quality benchmarks
  • Maintain a clean workspace and comply with food safety regulations
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of all prepared items

WORK SCHEDULE: Tuesday to Saturday, 4 AM to 12 PM

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Preferred culinary arts training or experience in institutional cooking/baking
  • At least 3 years of experience in a restaurant baking or bakery setting
  • Proficient in operating various food service equipment
