Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team in designing and developing control systems for re-manufactured drivetrain products and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, for drivetrain components and assembly lines.
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and industrial PCs using various platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation.
  • Develop and implement control algorithms and strategies to optimize system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning of control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing control systems, resolving issues and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including control system specifications, programming code, and user manuals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial control systems design and programming.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and object-oriented programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of control theory, system dynamics, and industrial automation standards.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
  • Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
