Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our inpatient substance abuse treatment program located in Fresh Meadows, NY. The successful candidate will provide primary care and addiction treatment services, working independently but in collaboration with an attending physician. No prior addiction experience is necessary, as we provide training and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care and addiction treatment services to patients
  • Screen patients for admission or provide sick call
  • Work collaboratively with an attending physician
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
  • Adult or Family Practice Certification with a minimum of 2 years of working experience
  • Current NYS License and Registration
  • Infection Control certificate (required by NYS)
  • DEA certification
  • CPR Certification
  • NPI number
  • NYS Medicaid number (required by NYS to treat NYS Medicaid patients)
  • Ability to obtain Suboxone certification within the first 3 months of employment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
