Medical Doctor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Doctor (MD) to join our team at the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients in Adult, Pediatrics, Women's Health, and Infectious Disease disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient-centered medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of health concerns across adult, pediatric, women's health, and infectious disease disciplines
  • Conduct routine health assessments, prescribe medications, and create customized care plans for patients
  • Manage acute and chronic illnesses with a focus on prevention and patient education
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with best practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) in the state of New York
  • Active Medicaid provider number
  • Experience in Adult, Pediatrics, Women's Health, or Infectious Disease care preferred
  • Strong commitment to working with diverse and underserved populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual skills are strongly preferred
