As a Clinical Pharmacist at CaroMont Health, you will play a vital role in managing the pharmaceutical needs of our organization and its patients. This position requires a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills to provide medication-related information to physicians, staff, and community.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage assigned specialty area, including medication-related information and patient care protocols.
- Provide education and training to pharmacy staff, residents, and students in area(s) of specialty.
- Coordinate delivery of pharmaceutical care within assigned specialty, including order sets and policy development.
- Serve as a liaison to patient care areas, focusing on patient satisfaction and quality measures.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from a recognized college or university.
- Current NC pharmacy license required.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- Completion of accredited PGY1 residency program or 5 years of equivalent clinical experience preferred.
- Board certification required within 12 months of hire.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Thorough knowledge of pharmacy terminology, procedures, and policies.
