About the Role

As a Retail Sales Associate at H&M Group, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the store's sales and profit. Your primary goal will be to create a positive shopping experience for our customers, providing them with expert advice and guidance on our latest fashion pieces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Actively greet and engage with customers, providing personalized assistance and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a neat and tidy sales floor, adhering to H&M's guidelines for folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments.
  • Merchandise Management: Unload delivery trucks, receive, open, and unpack merchandise, labeling it with security tags within efficiency timelines.
  • Stock Management: Process, stock, and replenish garments on the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Point of Sale: Ring up transactions, issue receipts, and fold and place merchandise in bags, following register best practices.
  • Loyalty Program: Educate and promote our H&M Loyalty program to customers, encouraging them to join and engage with our brand.
  • Team Collaboration: Share knowledge and skills with colleagues, offering help where needed to build a positive working environment.
  • Health and Safety: Work in accordance with H&M's standards and local legislation, ensuring the safety of yourself, colleagues, and customers at all times.
Requirements
  • Customer Service: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping people find their style.
  • Multi-Tasking: Able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Team Player: Inclusive, positive, creative, and willing to learn on the job, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds, stand for long periods, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull, and carry items.
  • Availability: Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
