Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols to deter and detect criminal activity.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide assistance to citizens.
  • Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports for legal proceedings.
  • Engage with the community to foster positive relationships and enhance public trust.
  • Participate in special events and community outreach programs.

Training and Development: New recruits will undergo comprehensive training, including attendance at a police academy and completion of an in-house training program. Successful candidates will progress to the position of Law Enforcement Officer upon meeting all training and probationary requirements.

Qualifications: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license. A clean legal record is essential, with no felony or domestic violence convictions. Educational requirements include one year of college coursework or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with prior law enforcement experience or those who have completed a recognized police academy will be given preference. Experience in correctional facilities may also be considered.

Skills and Attributes: Successful candidates will demonstrate strong decision-making abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to manage stressful situations. A commitment to community engagement and cultural competency is essential.
