Early Childhood Educator

The Learning Experience is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Leadership: Collaborate with teachers to design and implement engaging lesson plans, promoting a love of learning and development in our children.
- Curriculum Implementation: Support the implementation of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of our Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
- Safety First: Prioritize a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the well-being and protection of our children at all times.
- Family Communication: Work closely with teachers to update parents on their child's progress and milestones, utilizing a combination of mobile apps and in-person discussions.
- Center Collaboration: Be a team player, contributing to the success of our center by driving retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
- Relationship Builder: Foster strong relationships with families and colleagues, creating a warm and welcoming environment that encourages learning and play.
- Educational Background: High School Diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in childcare or a demonstrated passion for early childhood education is preferred.
- State Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
- Caregiving Skills: Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting, ensuring children's safety and everyday needs are met.
- Physical Resilience: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and maintain mental and physical alertness throughout the workday.
