Job OverviewAs a valued member of our team at Primrose School of Oldsmar, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team, responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in each child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Primrose Balanced Learning approach, promoting a love of learning and exploration in our young students.
  • Establish a safe and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging children to express themselves and develop essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive educational experience for our students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.
  • Contribute to the overall success of our school by maintaining a clean and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety protocols, and supporting school events and activities.

Requirements
  • Meet the basic requirements of local child care regulatory agencies.
  • Prior experience in early childhood education, preferably in a licensed program.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, with the capacity to properly lift infants into and out of cribs.
