Job Summary

Tuvli, an Akima company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Middleware Engineer to support our client located in Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will provide application administration for various systems with a focus on Oracle-based middleware systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server, and Oracle JDK.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IIS, and other middleware services.
  • Plan and implement middleware upgrades and patches to ensure current and supported patch sets and versions.
  • Provide routine application redeployment and deployment services to all FDA centers.
  • Perform on-demand application restarts and provide system logs when requested.
  • Utilize automation tools and scripting for increased efficiency and accuracy while performing routine installations, patch updates, restarts, and configuration changes.
  • Participate in troubleshooting sessions with application developers and other system administrators to fix ongoing issues and minimize downtime of high-priority systems.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) systems, including Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Internet Directory, and LDAP, is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and ServiceNow is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Oracle Rest Data Services (ORDS) and Oracle Application Express (APEX) is also beneficial.
  • The candidate must be a U.S. citizen or a green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
