Job Title: Senior SQL Database Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Database Administrator to join our team at Omni Inclusive. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance SQL Server databases.

Key Responsibilities:

* Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
* Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies for databases to minimize data loss and downtime.
* Implement and manage database security measures, including user access control, roles, and permissions.
* Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize query performance.
* Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
* Create, modify, and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
* Set up and maintain high availability solutions like SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups and clustering.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator with a focus on backup and recovery operations.
* Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (SQL Server 2019 and SQL Server 2022).
* Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
* Experience in SSIS and SSRS development.
* Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
* Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Database Administrator).
