Job Summary:

Cynet Systems is seeking a highly skilled Exterior Component Engineer to join our team. As an Exterior Component Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing exterior components for our vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop exterior components, including body panels, doors, and hood, using advanced computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools and techniques.
  • Simulation and Analysis: Perform crash safety-related impact simulations using LS-DYNA and evaluate the results through careful analysis of crash simulations.
  • Performance Evaluation: Measure the simulations against the target automobile performance criteria based on advanced safety standards, such as the New Car Assessment Program and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety criteria, as well as Honda's internal safety standards.
  • Countermeasure Development: Determine the appropriate countermeasures to meet the criteria if simulation outcomes are below target performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to ensure that exterior components meet the required safety and performance standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of industry experience as a CAE analyst and specific solver software usage depending on department specialty area.
  • Skills: Proficiency in LS-DYNA, ANSA, and Meta-Post, as well as advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
