The battery module is integral to all Lucid Battery technology and plays a crucial role in our current and upcoming products.

We are in search of a highly experienced professional to join our team, spearhead technical advancements, and push the boundaries of design. This position demands strong collaboration across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of battery modules at Lucid from initial concept to production
Design with precision at both system and component levels, focusing on every detail
Enhance mechanical designs for optimal performance, size, weight, durability, and cost
Employ innovative thinking and first-principle engineering to tackle complex challenges

Qualifications:
Proven background in high-voltage battery design
Experience managing complex components that have been produced at scale
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and material selection
Strong command of mechanical engineering fundamentals
A creative approach to design with a critical mindset for problem-solving
Previous experience in a technical leadership or mentorship capacity
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues
Experience in design release engineering
A commitment to hard work and pushing boundaries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred: 7+ years of experience in designing high-voltage battery components
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
Lucid offers a comprehensive range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k plans.

Eligible candidates may also participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the governing rules.

(Incentive awards will depend on various factors, including individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual): $156,600—$229,680 USD.
