Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Class A Linehaul Driver to join our team at CrossCountry Freight Solutions. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for hauling trailers between our customer/terminal locations, ensuring timely delivery and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
  • Hook up and haul trailers between designated locations, following dispatch instructions and company policies
  • Operate tractor-trailer combination for extended periods, adhering to hours of service regulations
  • Verify and maintain accurate shipping documentation for DOT inspections and customer delivery
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • 21 years of age or older
  • No DUIs or DWIs in the past 3 years
  • No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
  • Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain
Physical Demands

The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Frequently enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle
  • Safely maneuver freight/pallets weighing up to 2,500 pounds
  • Carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for distances of up to 20 feet
