Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Winding Specialist to join our team at Sulzer USA Inc. As a Winding Specialist, you will be responsible for performing repairs on electric motors, armatures, rotors, generators, and other electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs on electric motors, armatures, rotors, generators, and other electrical equipment
  • Operate core loss testers, hipotential test equipment, surge test equipment, and megger test equipment
  • Tig armature connections and silfos brazed connections
  • Manufacture and install random wound coils, install and align formed coils, and install coils in form wound armatures
  • Ensure quality rewinding practices by using proper insulation systems
Requirements
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Proven ability to operate test equipment and perform rewinding tasks
  • Ability to read, write, and converse fluently in English
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with equipment used by EMS and other related experience
