Job Summary:

Boone Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical patients, reviewing preference cards to determine surgeon needs and obtaining necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the operating room and assist with opening sterile supplies.
  • Perform surgical scrub duties and assist with turning over of rooms, ensuring supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to their proper location.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No experience required
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Surgical Technician certification

Work Environment:

Day Shift, 40 hours per week, with minimal call requirements.
