Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner Transport to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. As a critical care respiratory therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in a specialized critical care area.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, developing individualized plans of care to meet their unique needs.
  • Administer respiratory care and life support to patients, including ECMO therapy to support patients with severely impaired heart/lung function.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in respiratory care.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
  • Two years of direct care respiratory care experience in a specialized critical care area.
