Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician who performs mechanical repairs on all production and non-production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follows all safety protocols and procedures in accordance with company policy and industry standards.
  • Interprets technical manuals and identifies problem sources to ensure efficient equipment operation.
  • Disassembles and removes, repairs and/or replaces defective components on manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Specifies and quotes replacement items for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, including lubricating and cleaning of manufacturing equipment.
  • Performs simple repairs on building and grounds, including windows, fences, doors, and plumbing.
  • Constructs simple facility improvement projects, including door frames, shelving, partitions, and other structural elements.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and optimize performance.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment, including electrical and electronic components.
  • Must possess own tools and be able to respond to emergency breakdown situations as needed.
  • Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment, including robots and programmable controllers.
  • Must have a firm grasp of Ladder Logic and be able to apply it in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years related experience or training.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical manuals.
    • Understanding of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
    • Ability to use hand and power tools and mechanical testing equipment.
    • Welding, machining, and plumbing experience is highly desirable.
