Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Mechanic is a critical role within our team, responsible for ensuring the safe operation of heavy industrial equipment on the second shift. This includes repairing, replacing, and troubleshooting various machinery and mechanical systems.

**Responsibilities:**

- Repair and maintain heavy industrial equipment, including fans, pumps, gear drives, compressors, and other machinery.

- Perform structural and pipe welding, pipe fitting, and blueprint interpretation as needed.

- Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes to prevent future issues.

- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment, including cranes and manlifts.

- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of production lines and equipment.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification preferred.

- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

- Basic math skills and ability to comprehend technical manuals and instructions.

- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Computer skills a plus.
