About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Compass Corporate. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Catering Department and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise all catering events, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Collaborate with the Chef to develop menus and improve culinary offerings.
  • Train catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
  • Monitor and control labor and food costs for each event.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, management, and associates.
  • Assist in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.
Requirements
  • 2 years of previous catering management experience in food service in a high-volume location.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Catering management experience is required for this role.
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
  • Proficient digital literacy and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet.
  • ServSafe Certification.
