Postdoctoral Researcher in Machine Learning for Biomedical Applications

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to join our team at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Computational Diagnostics lab. The successful candidate will lead and collaborate on the development of machine learning methods applied to biomedical data.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead independent research projects and support collaborative projects.
* Author scientific publications and grant proposals.
* Supervise trainees and maintain research infrastructure.
* Comply with UCLA guidelines for lab safety, animal research, and human subject research.
* Develop and update standard operating procedures and best practices for research projects.
* Communicate effectively with team members, present findings and progress both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications: PhD in engineering, computer science, or related field. Additional qualifications: Expertise in the development and application of machine learning methods. A track record of publications as first author. Experience in image analysis, preferably with medical images.
