As a Mortgage Loan Officer Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that loan files meet underwriting criteria and are thoroughly prepared for submission. This position involves direct communication with borrowers and mortgage brokers to gather essential documentation, acting as a vital link between the origination team, underwriters, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor critical transaction timelines.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to follow up on loan applications.
- Manage databases for clients and referral partners.
- Address customer inquiries regarding loan application status and locked rates to deliver exceptional service.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file processing and underwriting.
- Provide administrative assistance in preparing and submitting loan applications along with necessary documentation.
- Develop, track, and distribute marketing materials.
Additional Duties:
- Engage in marketing efforts and database management.
- Facilitate the collection of loan applications and disclosures from clients for completion and signatures.
- Assist throughout the production and underwriting phases.
- Maintain a high level of organization in file management and client communications, addressing rates, statuses, and qualification concerns.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred, with higher-level positions requiring 5+ years.
