Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior EHS Manager to develop and implement safety compliance programs at assigned facilities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and manage the Arsenic Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the Emergency Response Team, developing and implementing emergency response plans.
  • Assist in internal EHS auditing, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date training and skills to conduct tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or safety science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in site-level EHS compliance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience working with regulators during routine inspections, permit applications, and modifications.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental and safety regulations associated with a manufacturing facility.
  • Understanding of and practical experience in safety regulations, including OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926).
  • Working understanding and experience in conducting accident/injury investigations, including root cause analyses.
