The Assistant Night Operations Team Lead is a key member of the Bashas' team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the grocery department during night hours. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise night crew personnel to meet service level and merchandising goals.
  • Communicate effectively with the store team lead and merchandising manager to ensure seamless operations.
  • Order and receive general department products, including grocery, non-foods, HBC, frozen foods, and liquor, to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Stock and merchandise products in accordance with sales and merchandising department standards.
  • Unload trailers, receive merchandise, audit received merchandise, and break down cases of product in the warehouse, sales floor, or walk-in cooler.
  • Ensure shelves are full and front-faced, and build attractive floor, aisle, and front-end displays.
  • Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement, and use product shelf tags and signage correctly.
  • Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas and warehouses, including swept floors.
  • Stock dated perishable products, rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety.

Physical Demands:

The Assistant Night Operations Team Lead may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:

  • Standing, Sitting, Lifting (up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending
