Vascular Ultrasound Technician

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, no weekends or holidays
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducting noninvasive assessments to identify peripheral vascular conditions (both arterial and venous), renal issues, aorta/iliac abnormalities, and carotid artery diseases. Compiling initial findings for review. Proficient in delivering intricate technical care utilizing ultrasound technology for patients across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
Completion of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience recognized by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience required.
MANDATORY LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Registered as one of the following:
Vascular Technologist (RVT) via the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)]
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:
Preferred two years of experience in a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory environment as a vascular sonographer.
