Honkamp, P.C. is a leading accounting and business advisory firm seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team.

We are looking for a skilled tax expert with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and leading a team towards excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directing and supervising tax engagements to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Leading a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Developing and implementing tax strategies that optimize client outcomes and minimize tax liabilities
  • Cultivating and nurturing client relationships, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions
  • Staying abreast of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends, and imparting this knowledge to the team and clients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience
  • Experienced in reviewing individual and entity returns
  • Strong technical expertise in tax planning, compliance, and consulting
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
