Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and quality control procedures.
  • Production Planning: Assist in planning and scheduling production to meet customer demands and company goals.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering materials, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Employee Development: Provide guidance and support to employees to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to read and comprehend technical instructions; basic math skills and ability to perform calculations; intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid Kansas Class C driver's license; ability to obtain a forklift operator certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to touch, handle, or feel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40-50 pounds. The work environment is typically loud, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and outside weather conditions.
