Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Fabrication Supervisor to oversee all operations involved in the production of couplings for pipe. This role involves managing personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining high quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabrication operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
• Coordinate production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet daily targets.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, quality control inspections, and employee attendance.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, including engineering, purchasing, and sales.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and techniques related to pipe couplings.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using relevant software applications for production management and reporting.
