Job Summary

Crescend Technologies is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to soldering, electronic and mechanical assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all soldering tasks within IPC class 3 standards.
  • Assist in the development of Travelers and Work Instructions.
  • Identify methods to utilize Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and techniques to reduce cycle time, defects, and costs.
  • Maintain and operate soldering equipment.
  • Assist in the development of team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Embody and demonstrate behavior in alignment with Crescend's core values (Innovation, Commitment, Initiative & Considerate).
  • Convey excellent oral and written communication.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proficient in team building skills.
  • Ability to operate soldering equipment.
  • Ability to interpret documents, work instructions, engineering change notices, drawing deviations, and schematics.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks.
  • Willing to learn and ask questions when help is needed.
  • Familiar with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention.
Education and Experience

Completion of a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the job's essential duties.

Certifications and Licenses

IPC J-STD Certification within 6 months of employment.
