Job Description: As a Process Mechanical Engineer at Brown and Caldwell, you will play a critical role in designing and developing water, wastewater, and stormwater pumping systems. You will work closely with experienced engineers and subject matter experts to prepare engineering drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, and technical reports for various municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater pumping system projects. In addition to your technical expertise, you will also mentor junior and entry-level engineers in pumping system design, ensuring the next generation of engineers is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this field.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement designs for water, wastewater, and stormwater pumping systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct site investigations, data collection, compilation, analysis, and documentation as required.


Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Environmental, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant pumping systems experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.


Salary: $116,000 - $158,000
