We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our Supply Chain team at Staples, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Fulfillment Center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and on-demand maintenance on electrical motors, material handling equipment, and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize strong technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, energy management, hydraulics, material handling equipment, and conveyor systems to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
- Assist and relay directions from supervisor to other technicians and assistants to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure safe work practices and adhere to our safety culture to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed and lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Trade school background.
