Responsibilities

  • Create a safe and engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters student learning
  • Design lesson plans and educational materials, transforming them into effective learning experiences to maximize instructional time
  • Conduct continuous assessments of student progress and adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual learning needs, including those of students with special requirements; provide individual and small group instruction as necessary
  • Promote parental engagement in the educational process and maintain effective communication with students and their families
  • Establish and uphold a system for accurate record-keeping, grading, and reporting on all student activities, achievements, and attendance
  • Collaborate with other educational staff as needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the role
