Valiant Integrated Services is looking for a part-time Advanced Training Systems Exercise Instructor (ATSEI). This role is essential in delivering instructor pilot and subject matter expert (SME) training, along with academic and flight procedure instruction.
The Advanced Training Systems Exercise Instructor (ATSEI) will report directly to the Site Manager. The primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting scheduled training sessions for Training Device and Systems Training, which involves briefs and debriefs, utilizing both traditional and modern tools such as interactive whiteboards, computers, and video projectors.
- Evaluating student performance during training missions and documenting trainer performance according to established criteria.
- Reviewing and enhancing the curriculum, assessing its effectiveness, and recommending improvements to the training program.
- Maintaining and updating mission scenarios to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
- Providing classroom instruction and suggesting improvements, including the development of tests, lesson plans, and trainee guides in accordance with current directives.
- Delivering academic instruction through instructor-led lectures and discussions on Crew Resource Management, Instrument Ground School, and self-paced Computer Aided Instruction and Computer Based Training for various platforms.
- Assisting with training device inspections, certification programs, and other special projects as needed.
- Performing additional support duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is $103.43 per hour, with an additional compensation of over $7 per hour. Valiant considers various factors, including market data, internal equity, and the candidate's experience and qualifications when extending an offer.

Ideal candidates for the Advanced Training Systems Exercise Instructor position:
- Should have been an F/A-18 C/D/E/F Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified Pilot or WSO within the last two years.
- Preferably a former Weapon School graduate (NAWDC, MAWTS-1, EAWS/HAVOC) with operational experience as a Weapon and Tactics Instructor (Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor (SFTI) or Air Interdiction Mission Commander (AIMC)) within the past three years.
- Must have a minimum of one Fleet tour and at least 800 flying hours in the F/A-18 C/D/E/F platform.
- Applicants will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, capable of obtaining a U.S. passport, and possess a valid driver's license.
- Requires mental alertness and concentration for extended periods, along with the physical ability to walk, stand, and sit for long durations.
- Should present a professional appearance.
- Must be able to perform all other duties as directed in the Statement of Work and/or Contract.
- Will function as a member of an Instructor Team, reporting directly to the Site Manager.
- Upon hire, will be subject to additional Government vetting as required.
