Role Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance team's efforts in the installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery and equipment. Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repairs of production machinery, assisting team members in diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
  • Managing maintenance personnel, providing guidance and mentorship in both corrective and preventative maintenance practices.
  • Utilizing CMMS (Maximo) to identify high-wear components for inclusion in preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Fostering a positive work environment within the maintenance department and across other departments.
  • Collaborating with production supervisors to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
  • Leading the maintenance team's effective use of Maximo.
  • Working with team members to create training plans addressing areas for improvement in individual performance.
  • Recommending enhancements to production methods, equipment efficiency, and product quality.
  • Researching and implementing capital expenditure projects.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred technical degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in industrial electrical (3-phase) controls, mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and machining.
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager is essential, or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
