Requirements and Qualifications
  • One to Three Years' Experience: As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you'll have a minimum of one to three years of experience in the field.
  • Certifications and Licenses: You'll need to hold a valid OTA license and BLS certification.
  • Critical Thinking and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities
  • Administer Treatment: Administer treatment to patients as a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant in accordance with the treatment plan and within established legal guidelines.
  • Educate Patients and Healthcare Professionals: Educate patients, other healthcare professionals, and family members regarding occupational therapy on an ongoing basis.
  • Observe and Evaluate Patient Responses: Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document, and report findings to the Occupational Therapist.
