Responsibilities
  • Patient Support: Assist with patient care during therapy sessions, following the guidance of the physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. This may involve assisting with exercises, equipment setup, and ensuring patient safety.
  • Treatment Area Preparation: Set up treatment areas and equipment, ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for patient use.
  • Patient Education: Assist in patient education by explaining exercises, proper form, and treatment goals as directed by the clinical team.
  • Clinic Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in treatment areas, exercise equipment, and therapy rooms to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Supply Management: Assist with laundry duties, such as washing and folding linens, towels, and other materials. Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including tracking and documenting patient progress and adherence to exercise programs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that therapy equipment is properly maintained and report any equipment issues to the appropriate staff.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, physical therapists, and other team members to facilitate a smooth patient experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
  • Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is beneficial. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients as required.
  • Confidentiality: Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.
What We Offer
