Agricultural Loan Specialist

**Job Summary:**

Bank of Pontiac is seeking a skilled Agricultural Loan Officer to join our team. As an Agricultural Loan Officer, you will be responsible for soliciting, developing, and servicing agricultural loan customers within the guidelines of Bank policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate Ag Operating and Real Estate Loans: Originate and develop agricultural loan opportunities through existing customers and potential business relationships.
  
• Credit Analysis: Analyze the creditworthiness of applicants by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, income statements, and cash flows. Approve or reject loans based on creditworthiness.
  
• Loan Presentations: Prepare loan presentations for the loan committee and board.
  
• Loan Negotiations: Establish and negotiate terms and conditions with borrowers.
  
• Loan Documentation: Maintain proper loan documentation.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and stay up-to-date with lending requirements and regulations.
  
• Loan Repayment Monitoring: Monitor loan repayments and take appropriate collection action.
  
• Loan Documentation and Processing: Prepare and process loan documentation to ensure proper monitoring of financial progress and perfection of collateral security interests.
  
• Cross-Selling Bank Services: Cross-sell bank services and products.
  
• Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in agricultural lending.
  
• Skills: Ability to prioritize workload and multitask to meet deadlines. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with an elevated level of accuracy. Proficiency with MS Office products and overall computer skills.
  
• Requirements: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
