Position Overview
This role is integral to the management of civil engineering projects within the Capital Program Management team at UC San Diego. We are seeking a dedicated individual who possesses a strong foundation in civil engineering and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities
As a Civil Engineering Project Coordinator, you will:
1. Collaborate with a diverse team to ensure the successful execution of various engineering projects.
2. Provide expert engineering guidance across the campus and health system, including compliance reviews and drainage analyses.
3. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
4. Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including design professionals and contractors, to resolve any project-related issues.
5. Conduct reviews of design and construction documents, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and regulations.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Advanced knowledge of construction practices and California Building Codes.
- Proven ability to prepare technical drawings and specifications for significant projects.
- Familiarity with design and construction sequences, as well as project scheduling.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present project updates and negotiate terms.

Special Requirements
Successful candidates will undergo background checks and must maintain a valid California Driver License.

Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid remote work arrangement, allowing for flexibility while maintaining collaboration with the team.
