Job Title: Senior Magento 2 Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Magento 2 Developer to join our team at Search Leaders, LLC. As a Senior Magento 2 Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing and expanding our client's online presence across multiple digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine the client's websites, ERP system, and data integration routines in line with coding standards.
  • Implement and adjust features within the Magento 2 PHP codebase, with potential work on Angular 2.
  • Enhance existing NodeJS APIs, which support data for various front-end applications and third-party integrations.
  • Customize and manage data configurations within the NetSuite ERP system.
  • Support the team in overseeing and optimizing system functionality and stability.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years working with Magento 2 Enterprise Edition.
  • Proficiency in PHP, NodeJS, MySQL, and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Knockout.
  • Solid understanding of key Magento concepts, including plugins, events, controllers, page caching, modules, themes, and deployment processes.
  • Experience in setting up and troubleshooting LAMP environments, with options for local setup, such as WSL or Docker.
  • Working knowledge of web server protocols (Apache, nginx) and DNS basics.
  • Skills in Linux bash scripting.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning new technologies.
  • Strong technical communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Proficiency in debugging core Magento, with experience identifying performance issues.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of MSSQL or MongoDB.
  • Exposure to technologies such as Angular 2, NodeJS Express, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, and REST/SOAP services.
