We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program at Springfield College. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, online education to our DMSc students, guiding them to achieve excellence in education and leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Course Facilitation: Teach and facilitate online courses within the DMSc program using Brightspace, our Learning Management System.
- Student Feedback and Support: Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on assignments and discussions, and engage in active communication with students to support their learning and professional growth.
- Collaboration and Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the DMSc Program Director and other faculty to ensure course content meets program standards and objectives, and participate in curriculum development and course revision as needed.
- Educational Background: Earned doctorate degree (e.g., DMSc, EdD, DHSc, PhD) in a relevant field.
- Professional Experience: Current or prior NCCPA PA Certification, and experience in higher education, preferably with online teaching experience.
- Location: Current residence in one of the following states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Delaware, Texas, Vermont, Florida.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience teaching in a medical science or healthcare-related program.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge and experience with Learning Management Systems, particularly Brightspace.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and academic leadership.
