Job Summary

Springfield College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty members for the Department of Occupational Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to student success and academic excellence, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and facilitate lecture and/or lab courses within the Department of Occupational Therapy at our Springfield College Campus.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on assignments and discussions.
  • Facilitate active communication with students to support their learning and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the OT Program Director and other faculty to ensure course content meets program standards and objectives.
  • Participate in curriculum development and course revision as needed.
Qualifications
  • Initial certification as an occupational therapist.
  • OT Licensure or eligible for OT licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Documented experience in content area of course focus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience.
  • Previous teaching experience and/or serving as a fieldwork educator.
  • Familiarity with online learning systems such as Brightspace.
