Animal Care Specialist

County Line Veterinary Hospital

Sign-on / relocation bonus available up to $200,000.00, which is as delightful as a fresh batch of treats.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Examine and diagnose ailments and injuries in pets (primarily dogs and cats), providing surgical or medical treatment as necessary.
  • Collaborate within our veterinary network and communicate effectively with referring veterinarians.
  • Engage in continuous education, seminars, and training to maintain expertise in your field.
  • Administer essential vaccinations and advise clients on optimal pet care.
  • Perform dental procedures.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive workplace atmosphere for staff, clients, and pets alike.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree.
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in a Veterinary Hospital setting.
  • Internship training is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain a NJ Veterinary License.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
