Position Overview:

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist plays a vital role within our rehabilitation team, responsible for implementing effective treatment strategies and modalities for children from birth to 21 years of age. This role requires adherence to the professional standards set forth by the relevant physical therapy associations.

Utilizing creativity, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills, you will strive for optimal outcomes and deliver exceptional patient-centered care. You will also engage in educational activities for patients and their families while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Your contributions will be essential in enhancing functional performance through skill development, strength training, movement activities, and fostering social-emotional growth.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; advanced degrees (MA/MS/MPT/DPT) preferred
  • Current licensure for physical therapy
  • CPR certification
  • A minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience in medical or educational environments is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team

For Telehealth Services:

When providing care to patients located outside of the state, compliance with the licensing regulations of the respective state is required.
